Airlie Beach Helicopters

A family-owned and operated helicopter company flying scenic tours of the Whitsundays and the surrounding islands and reefs, based in the heart of the region. The pilot, Justin, has more than ten years behind the controls, six of them from Airlie Beach, flying a 2023 Robinson R44, a light four-seat helicopter suited to comfortable tours and beach landings. Flights range from the 20-minute Whitsunday Whirl and 30-minute Whitehaven from Above to a 2.5-hour trip that takes in Heart Reef and lands on Whitehaven Beach. A transfer bus collects guests from hotels, cruise terminals or elsewhere in the region.
