Bicheno Penguin Tours

Eco-certified guided dusk tours that take small groups out to watch little penguins come ashore to their rookery at Bicheno on Tasmania's east coast. Departure times shift with the season, from around 5pm in the winter months to after 7:30pm through the September-to-January breeding season, when the birds are most active. Tours gather at the operator's base on Burgess Street before heading out at last light.
