Blue Dolphin Tours

Peter and Jodie Lynch run whale and dolphin tours out of Urangan under sail — a single eco-certified catamaran, 24 passengers maximum, in a Hervey Bay market otherwise built on large motor boats. Peter has spent more than forty years around marine mammals, including rescue and rehabilitation work in Australia and overseas, and skippers the trips himself. Humpback watching runs July to October; the rest of the year the boat sails the Great Sandy Strait and K'gari's south-west coast for dolphins, turtles and seabirds.
