Broome Camel Safaris

Owner-led camel rides along Cable Beach at Broome, run by an operator who once spent seven years trekking the Australian outback solo with her camels and has led beach tours here for three decades. The camel train is known by its distinctive blue blankets, with sunset, pre-sunset and morning rides tracing the long white sweep of sand. A hands-on, small-scale operation where the cameleers walk every ride.
