Coastrider Surf Academy

Working the beach break at Clifton Beach, south-east of Hobart, this academy runs group and private lessons for beginners through to intermediates, plus stand-up paddleboarding and the NRMA SurfGroms program for five- to twelve-year-olds. It was named Surf School of the Year at Surfing Australia's 2024 Australian Surfing Awards. Boards and gear are supplied, and school groups are catered for on Tasmania's cool, clean waves.
