Go Surf Perth

Family-owned and run by local surfers, this Perth school teaches beginners in the summer breaks at Scarborough Beach and shifts to Leighton Beach at North Fremantle over winter. A team of eight instructors, accredited by Surfing Australia and the Academy of Surfing Instructors, runs adult and kids' group lessons, private one-on-one coaching, after-school classes and school-holiday courses, with boards supplied. The operators also support Ocean Heroes, which provides free surfing for people on the autism spectrum.
