Hervey Bay Dive Centre

Hervey Bay Dive Centre is the family-run, PADI 5-Star operation Rachel skippers out of The Boat Club Marina at Urangan. The year-round draw is guided diving on the ex-HMAS Tobruk, Australia's largest military dive wreck, resting on its starboard side a short run offshore, alongside the wreck and artificial-reef sites scattered through the Great Sandy Marine Park. July to October brings a small-boat humpback swim aboard MV Coral Gypsy, numbers kept strictly low. Ecotourism certified, with a senior skipper, Ed, who first dived in 1968.
