Illawarra Surf Academy

Locally owned by Nic Squiers and licensed by Surfing Australia, this Wollongong academy teaches in shallow water at Corrimal, Thirroul and Warilla beaches. The program spans Nudie SurfGroms for young children, ISA Surf-Teens, adult group and private lessons, women's sessions, university sessions, intermediate and elite coaching, and school programs, with soft boards and wetsuits to hire. Instructors hold current first-aid and surf-rescue certificates, and the base sits on Lake Parade at East Corrimal.
