Kalgan Queen Scenic Cruises

A four-hour cruise on the sheltered water of Oyster Harbour and the ancient Kalgan River, run daily at 9am aboard a glass-bottom riverboat. The skipper keeps up a live, often comic commentary that folds together local history, Aboriginal Dreamtime stories, the Anzac legend and the wildlife along the banks. You watch for Percy the dancing pelican, sea eagles and giant rays through the boat's glass floor, with local products and a hot savoury damper served on board.
