Margaret River Surfing Academy

Billed as the first established surf school in Margaret River and led by Simon Tien — a professional paramedic with a Master of Mental Health and more than 30 years on the coast — this academy runs two-hour lessons with equipment included. Options span beginner group, private and one-on-one lessons, guided surfing tours, performance coaching, and corporate, wellbeing and school outdoor-education programs. Soft-top and performance boards, wetsuits and rash vests are available to hire.
