Sunreef

The Sunshine Coast's longest-running dive centre, out of The Wharf at Mooloolaba since 1976. The headline dive is the ex-HMAS Brisbane, a decommissioned warship sunk offshore as a wreck; Sunreef also runs Flinders Reef, Mudjimba Island and the local sites, with PADI courses to instructor level. From July it's Australia's first swim-with-humpback operator — trailing pods at a distance, cutting the engine, letting swimmers in only once the whales settle and entirely on their terms.
