Tarkine Trails

Founded in 2002, this operator runs guided multi-day treks deep into Tasmania's Tarkine/takayna wilderness, from a four-day rainforest experience to six-day coast expeditions and the five-day 'Takayna Explorer — Forest to Sea'. Small groups walk with guides through some of the largest tracts of cool-temperate rainforest in the country. It holds Advanced Ecotourism certification, is a licensed Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife operator, and carries Respecting Our Culture and GSTC accreditation.
