Aquascene Magnetic Island

Adam and Steph Hinks have snorkelled Magnetic Island's bays since their teens — three generations of family on the island — and now run small reef-and-coastline tours of it, both qualified Master Reef Guides. The custom step-in/step-out boats reach the secluded northern Five Bays on the circumnavigation, the southern fringing reefs on the Discovery run, and the shipwreck off Nelly Bay at sunset. Whales pass July to September. Advanced Eco-certified; Steph sits on the region's Reef Advisory Committee.
