Passions of Paradise

A local, independently owned Great Barrier Reef outfit running full-day trips from the Reef Fleet Terminal at Cairns aboard a single 25-metre high-performance catamaran rather than a chartered fleet. Eco-accredited marine naturalists sail with every departure, giving presentations on coral and reef life and running "Be A Marine Bio" citizen-science tours alongside guided snorkelling and diving. The boat feeds real survey data back to the marine park authority, and sustainability sits at the centre of how the operation runs.
