A boutique Great Barrier Reef day trip aboard the fast catamaran Seastar, capped at 36 passengers a day, calling at Michaelmas Cay, a seabird and turtle sanctuary, and Hastings Reef. Half-hour guided snorkels run at each stop, with scuba diving, bird watching and a glass-bottom boat for those who prefer to stay dry, plus a buffet lunch onboard. The small-group operation is Eco Certified and departs from the Cairns Esplanade opposite the lagoon.
