Small World Journeys

A Cairns tour operator built around educational travel, running guided group and individual journeys that dig into ecology, sustainability, Indigenous culture and community service across the Great Barrier Reef, the Wet Tropics rainforest and the outback. The programs are led rather than self-guided, with a stated aim of leaving Cairns better than they found it. The work has been recognised with ECO certification and repeated sustainability awards, including bronze in the 2024 Steve Irwin Sustainable Tourism Award.
